I don't know about you guys but I didn't really understand from the online instructions/videos that the internals of both fork legs are basically identical.  That whole trick with the nut-on-a-stick that you hold the inside with so you can undo the Allen bolt on the bottom? - you do that to both fork legs.  I guess it seems obvious in retrospect,  that is how the upper and lower fork legs are attached to each other and why the front wheel doesn't go shooting off when you catch air.

Despite best efforts this is a messy job, rags, paper towels, cardboard and a drain pan.  It'll seem like you got most of the oil out until you take the legs apart then you'll find the rest.  Next up,  cleaning with dish soap and water, seals, bushings, assembly with new springs(!),  installation with new fork boots(!),  wait three months(doh!),  ride.
