Craigslist Karma

Finally got around to selling a frame/fork I will never build or use.  I received two offers.  The cash I was asking for and a parts trade for things I wanted and had been looking for.  Cash guy shows early and snaps it up.  I tell parts guy it sold but I would pay what I got for the parts he is offering which we did in the afternoon.  Unwanted frame/fork/wheel becomes excellent condition 8 speed XT brake-shift levers/brakes/derailleurs/cassette.  Parts for parts.  Super cool.

Well now you're here, there's no way back.

Well now you're here,  there's no way back is the clunky title of the highly rated 2014 Quiet Riot documentary that I was finally able to get my hands on.  I find the often compared Story of Anvil far more compelling in every way starting with the plot and ending with the movie making.  Kevin DuBrow's stereotypical drug-death preventing QR's theoretical comeback or at least State Fair tour and leaving Frankie Banali missing his friend is just so...  stereotypical.  I just can't get behind it. Remember these guys lead the way for the late 80's-early 90's embarrassment that makes me explain what I mean when I say I like heavy metal music.
