Three weeks

Three weeks is long enough, sorry Jared.

I tried to capture the color, but couldn't really do it justice without sunlight. The rapid-pour carbonation was perfect - you can see the big-bubble grid still filling the bottle, and the thick head speaks for itself. The texture was smooth and silky. The flavor was rich and sweet with a slight tangy bite. This was really one of the best you've made, thanks G.

Twenty

Give up learning, and put an end to your troubles.

Is there a difference between yes and no?
Is there a difference between good and evil?
Must I fear what others fear? What nonsense!
Other people are contented, enjoying the sacrificial feast of the ox.
In spring some go to the park, and climb the terrace,
But I alone am drifting, not knowing where I am.
Like a newborn babe before it learns to smile,
I am alone, without a place to go.

Others have more than they need, but I alone have nothing.
I am a fool. O, yes! I am confused.
Other men are clear and bright,
But I alone am dim and weak.
Other men are sharp and clever,
But I alone am dull and stupid.
Oh, I drift like the waves of the sea,
Without direction, like the restless wind.

Everyone else is busy,
But I alone am aimless and depressed.
I am different.
I am nourished by the great mother.

Windows 7 rocks on mediocre hardware.

been f**king with with the computer(s) all weekend - god damned audio drivers, and alternating between 7 on older hardware and XP on newer hardware. I'm switching - 7 is better - looking and running. Much better at managing resources: Despite the lowly 2.8 rating (of how many 7 features will be in use) it doesn't run slow at all, it restarts much faster than the quad-core 2.3 with XP, and is generally quite snappy. On new hardware it will be even way better yet. I'm biting the bullet and reinstalling.

Go Vikings!

Itchy trigger finger

I pulled the trigger today, but it misfired. The release of that green/brown is two weeks out, and the new non-failure-prone Large Marges - cough, Jared, cough - are two weeks further. So now I wait... Apparently there isn't a stock build kit anymore either so everything is hand-chosen via QBP's Dream Cycle application installed on a computer at a bike shop near you. I definitely want those brakes now Sean.

Vertical Burner

Emerging from the scrap metal pile, the vertical burner thrusts upward to it's nearly four foot height - the product of months of brain-storming and two evenings of fabrication a couple weeks ago. One of the legs is bigger than the others to meet the use existing material only goal, and the slender profile meets the easily fits though the door to the yard goal.

Now jammed full of Christmas tree, it's a giant workshop air freshener that will become a simulated rocket-launch when I put the fire to it. Have you ever burned your wreath or tree? - those needles flame fast and bright!

Mission Accomplished: Refrigerator Reached.

Next mission: dare Jared.

Christmas, just before the ham hit the table, the warm buns are in the green chicken cozy -with access beneath each wing. The Brown sugar baked on the sweet potatoes is beautifully burned to the edge of the dish, only slightly more crusty than the onion rings on the mushroom-soup-beans. The most satisfying meal eaten since I can remember.
