My first vacation starts tomorrow (for 6 days - yay!). Cruising to the small but popular town of Vermillion SD through the 4th, to visit Uncle Don and nearby son Dan - K's cousin Dan. Visiting the collapsing farmhouse farmstead where Kath's dad was a boy. re-Discovering lots of vintage pull-behind implements decaying in the overgrown woods, and launching burnables down at the road in front. They have way better fireworks than MN. With any luck, I will be smuggling a Holy Cow mortar back with us. It's the loudest thing I've ever heard (and felt) explode in a MPLS alley so far.

You see what I'm talking about now. wow.

Deluxe Memory Man

A funny thing happened tonight, my brother took an interest in digital photography, and his website, as I knew he would someday and that day was tonight.

Well it wasn't all tonight. He took some photos this past week, and I showed him how to transfer them to his computer a couple days ago. Tonight we got him an Admin logon and I showed him how to edit (my) posts on his blog. He's adding new titles, materials descriptions, sizes, years. I'm psyched: I hoped he would take it over someday...

A little digital photo editing and he's 99% of the way to New Posts now, and he's very excited to.

Prolly is not Probably

Snob references him sometimes, and I have finally begun to dig in. Really excellent visuals of cutting edge hipster bike culture. Frequent posting and cool diversity. He's a metalhead too. I think Prolly is his last name, which connects the slogan in a more meaningful way - it's a funny grammar riff either way which makes me wonder if he knows BS outside of the web-world.
