Tonight I watched the second Dave Grohl Sonic Highways series in DC with Ian Mckaye.  It was going to be pretty hard to top Chicago with Steve Albini but it was pretty fucking close in the end.  These are great movies.  History for those who don't know and intimate scenes, tidbits and cool images for those who do.  I like Nirvana and I like Foo Fighters but I don't love either one.  I would say I like The Color and the Shape as much as Nevermind.  Great choice for the new album to record each track in a different studio in a different city in order to film the documentaries and tell the stories of the histories of the local music scenes.  He has the cred to call these guys on the phone to come hang out.  I only like his music but I love Dave Grohl.

Tonight I got to the fifth, Los Angeles. Super good. Surprising and great as the rest.

It was sadly funny when I heard that first riff and realized how much more I like Queens than FF

Its good to have the Nevermind money available too, to be able to do a project like this.

I like Big Black and Minor Threat better than Nirvana and Foo Fighters too.
