Is this painting by Francesco Goya?
No, it's Bosch. "Hell". Sick of looking at the last picture.
Dark, fun stuff. I suppose hell is a niche of expression artists could exploit to create the kind of art they wanted while staying in the good graces of an overbearing Church.
Bosch was extremely religious. In the 15th century - this wasn't avant-garde, it was a sinner's future.
A lesson to us all!
